Privacy Policy
FieldTrack is a field workforce application provided by OneLedger and developed by SAER Technologies Private Limited ("we"). Businesses ("Organisations") use FieldTrack to manage the attendance and field work of their employees ("Users"). This policy explains what data the app collects and why.
Data we collect
- Account data: name, mobile number, optional email, employee code and role, created by the Organisation.
- Location data: GPS location at check-in / check-out and at visits, and — only while the User is checked in for work — periodic background location (latitude, longitude, accuracy, speed, timestamp). Tracking stops automatically at check-out. A persistent notification is shown while tracking is active.
- Device data: device identifier, model, platform, app version, battery level and network type, used to keep tracking reliable and detect problems.
- Photos and notes: photos taken in the app for visits, stamped with date, time and coordinates, and notes entered by the User.
How data is used
Data is used only to provide FieldTrack features to the Organisation: attendance, route plans, visit verification, route analysis (distance, stops, time) and reports. We do not sell personal data and do not use it for advertising.
Who can see the data
Authorised owners, admins and managers of the User's Organisation. Location data is not shared with other Organisations or third parties, except our hosting providers and where required by law.
Retention and deletion
Data is kept while the Organisation's account is active, or as configured by the Organisation. Users can ask their Organisation, or write to support@oneledger.in, to access or delete their data.
Permissions
The app asks for location (including "allow all the time" so tracking continues while the phone is locked during a work session), camera (visit photos) and notifications (tracking status). Users can revoke permissions in phone settings; some features will stop working.
